Work

  1. 7+ years leading development on large scale front-end applications.

    • Designed and led implementation of a notification administrator interface using React/Redux, and Firebase’s Realtime Database.
    • Maintained and improved UI/UX on a large-scale Backbone.js WYSIWYG editor, while maintaining strict unit and integration testing practices.
    • Lead engineer of an analytics dashboard built using React/Redux and Express. Responsible for planning full stack implementation, and aided in implementing the front-end.
    • Lead engineer for the front-end growth team, creating an internal analytics library and 20+ UI/UX experiments resulting in a 100% sign up conversion increase.
    • Lead engineer responsible for building a cross browser web reader using Backbone.js.
    • Coordinated cross team meetings about the web technology stack to help the team stay up to date on the latest web platform developments.
    • Cultivated strong development practices using Airbnb’s JavaScript/React style guide and BEM for company wide stylesheets.
    • Mentored and on-boarded junior engineers and interns.
